Contemporary acquires Business Objects Practice from Synergy Technology

London 31:03:06. With offices in London, the Thames Valley and the Midlands, acquiring the Business Objects Practice from Manchester-based Synergy Technology further strengthens Contemporary’s UK market reach.
With turnover up one million pounds on last year to four million this acquisition is evidence that Contemporary’s growth strategy is working and testament to their desire to bring solutions and expertise to a wider UK audience.
David Whitehead, Chairman of Contemporary said, “This opportunity was extremely timely and fitted in with our Northern England expansion plans. Synergy has built a reputable Business Intelligence Practice and we look to further expand that foothold.”
The transition will be as seamless as possible for customers and staff alike. Part of the acquisition sees Contemporary retain key members of staff from Synergy and established training facilities in Manchester to provide continuity of service.
Contemporary will continue to collaborate with Synergy to ensure customers retain a high-level of service, support and commitment during this transition which Synergy views as a strategic partnership and further growth opportunity.
Customers will benefit from the extended skill set, expertise and solutions brought by Contemporary who has long-established relationships with leading Business Intelligence software vendors and is a Business Objects Platinum Partner.
