Pegasus Software, one of the UK’s leading providers of financial and performance management solutions for the small and medium sized enterprise (SME’s), has been short listed in the top three in this year’s Help Desk Institute Awards which were held in central London last week.
Pegasus entered the Help Desk Support Excellence Team Award category because the award recognises a company’s expertise for providing first class support and service to its customer base. A commitment to service excellence is a fundamental objective for Pegasus and its team welcomed the opportunity to participate in the scheme and to receiving an independent assessment of its expertise in support.
After the success of 2005, where Pegasus gained HDI certification, the company has invested further to ensure that its high standards of customer care are maintained and further strengthened.
The Help Desk Support Team award is based on eight different sets of criteria, namely leadership, policy and strategy, people management, resources, process, people satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and overall performance results. The judging process involves each participating company having their help desk processes and procedures scrutinised on all of the above criteria through a series of detailed site visits and tests. The company with the highest score from all of the 8 evaluation criteria is then deemed the overall winner.
Companies including HBOS, were all successful in this years award. But crucially Pegasus was the only IT software company to be short listed, quite an achievement given the intense competition.
Julian Buck, services director at Pegasus, comments: “I am delighted that our continued determination and hard work has been recognised by the Helpdesk Institute. Such endorsements are significant as they are totally independent and are based on actual experience and assessment of our people and processes by industry experts. Pegasus is focused on providing a superior level of support to its expanding user and partner communities and is determined to continue to improve year on year.”
